Electronics Service has capabilities to design and produce fully-customized prototypes and functional parts for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) shielding and protection for military and civilian sites.
We customize our services based on client needs. First, we develop an understanding of the client requirements, including what are they protecting against and what compliance standards are invoked? A testing solution is then determined that ensures reproducibility and meets the desired outcome. Next, testing is conducted onsite, and a repair solution is developed and integrated, as needed. Testing is conducted again to verify compliance with requirements. Finally, a comprehensive report detailing the results and solutions is provided to the customer.
Electronics Service can design custom equipment required to perform specification testing as well as meet the needs of research performed within certain military facilities. We can engineer and design products that meet the needs of the rapidly changing R&D environment. Although our products are often highly customized, proven fabrication methods can support our customers’ timeline and budget requirements.
In situations that require custom prototyping and manufacturing, ES’s six Prusa 3D printers can fabricate materials quickly and cost effectively from a wide range of thermoplastic materials down to precise dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.3mm. Their Anycubic Photon Digital Light Processing printer has the capability to print watertight parts made from resin.
The ES shop also has a computer-controlled CNC for automated mass production that can engrave on metal, wood, plywood, stone, glass, and leather. The CNC can also cut hardboard, cardboard, fabric, wood, plywood, and acrylic up to 8mm to 10mm thick.
ES equipment is accurate and designed to meet the specification required to complete client testing. We test, calibrate and recheck all our equipment to ensure it meets all expected requirements.
